    • Abstract

    • This research project intends to evaluate the concepts of financial education and to diagnose its presence among the students of the IFMG - Câmpus Bambuí in their attitudes of consumption, saving and investment, in order to detect their influence in the decision making capacity of these students.
    • It will be, initially, a quantitative and exploratory applied research for a data analysis and its measurement regarding the profile and knowledge of the study population.
  • Additional qualitative research can be developed according to the results of the project and the population profile.
    • The paper considers as an expected result that there is a deficiency in the country and in the study population in the areas of financial education and that there are few initiatives related to this subject, besides a conceptual imprecision in its definition.
