During the university period, in the area that I most enjoyed in my computing courses was a piece of coursework which involved creating a database to a stringent specification.

This was challenging for I was given a problem and need to construct a working solution for it by using Microsoft Access and Visual Basic in Applications.

I once participated in creating an application which can record patients’ personal information and the medicines they took from Pharmacy.

Once the patient’s prescription against the rules issued by Food and Drug Administration, the application will inform the Pharmacist to check the prescription to prevent patients from potentially hazardous diagnostic or drug abuse.

Besides, this can record the follow-up information of side-effects, which can also be utilized in clinical research.

Programming is so appealing that the challenge involved in creating a resolution to a problem using different methods.

It also made me realize how crucial it is for programmers to think logically and systematically.
