    • There are three main things about New Year in Russia: Christmas tree, mandarins and Olivier salad.
    • It isn't Russian salad, but in Soviet time it became popular, because all ingridients isn't expensive and delicious.
    • Instead meat we use sausage, it's classical for our Olivier (some people called this salad Winter ).
    • On New Year we cook a lot of this salad (we have phrase: Тазик оливье (Bowl Olivier).
