  • I made a text about Weedings in Mexico which is the country I'm from.
  • --Talking about marriage in Mexico is really fun.
  • There are several things that may look weird for others.
  • Here in Mexico, both men and women are used to get married at early age.
  • It's not strange seeing a seventeen year couple getting married.
  • There may be some exceptions, but I believe this is a general thing.
  • You can figure out by the age, that couples tend to meet and court each other in High School period, even though some of them meet before.
    • Basically They court by sending letters or making invitations either to catch a movie or dancing.
    • This period can last months or three years at average.
    • But this depends on several circumstances and backgrounds.
    • On the other hand, in Mexico many people are used to ask other people to cover up of some expenses such as food, drink, or even the cake.
  • People who pay for such expenses are called padrinos.
    • A couple can have several padrinos to raise funding and make an enjoyable party.
    • This custom is very common among Mexcan people, it doesn't matter their status and social class.
    • This might be seen like a way to demonstrate appreciation and prestige from the padrinos to both groom and bride.
