    • Should parents give children to buy the thing they want

    • On contemporary society, money plays an essential role in one’s all walks of life.
    • Thus lead to a hot discussion on the question that should give children weekly money to buy what they want?
    • Different people will give different responses to this issue from their own characters, emotional concerns, and even educational backgrounds.
    • Some argue that this will impact children bad habits and ideas about money, while others may hold the idea that it benefits the children in some ways on the contrary.
    • However, when it comes to me, I support the latter one for the following reasons.
    • Admittedly, it is true that constrain children to buy what they want has its own merits.
    • As common sense, the desire of human being is unlimited, once this wish is satisfied, another one is coming.
  • So restricting children to get whatever they want will teach them to deal with the unrealistic desires.
    • Meantime, there are so many dirty staffs in the society; drugs, porn videos, and violence are everywhere.
    • Parents should not let them buy whatever they want because children are too young to discern/tell/distinguish/distinct the good or evil.
    • What a reasonable concern, isn’t it?
    • But is it the wise one?
    • When taking more factors into consideration, as far as I concerned, giving money to children to buy the things they like overweights to constrain them spending money.
    • Recently the ability of independence has provoked the public concern.
    • Unfortunately, people find that barely can they live well without the parent’s care and help.
    • It is that parent made all the decision for their kids and without allowing children to practice the ability of independence leads to this situation.
  • Spending money by themselves is a way to grasp this ability.
  • Therefore we are tempted to ask ourselves: Isn’t it indispensable for the children to be independent?
    • Isn’t it crucial for parents to recognize the necessity for children to be independent?
  • Isn’t it compulsory for children to master/acquire/grasp the ability of independence as soon as possible?
  • Obviously, children cannot deal with the money which is very fundamental part of their lives if they did not even touch the money.
  • Consequently, parents need to provide some money to children and through this can they learn more beyond the value of money spent by children, the ability of independence.
  • The significance of the capability of investment comes next only to the importance of independence.
  • The ability of investment is an essential element to the successful life.
  • As an old saying that only understanding how to spend money can he acquire how to invest.
  • It is through spending money that the children master the basic financial knowledge and practice the ability more and more flexibility, as a result, they will invest more valuable things like their brains.
  • Examples happen everywhere.
  • A survey conducted by a research institute in 15 major cities in Japan pointed out that the chance to be rich after a child growing up who received the basic financial knowledge is four to five time higher than the children cultured without knowing the concept of finance.
  • In light of this, no one could deny the important of spending money by a child and neither could they afford the impact to a child owing to shortage of knowledge about finance which related to spending money.
  • To conclude, from what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that it is better for children to manage money as soon as possible.
    • Only in this way can they obtain the ability to live independently and successfully.
