The aim of this report is to assess the functioning of our film club during this year.

Moreover, an insight into new ideas for the forthcoming year is provided as well.

Highlights of the year First and foremost, it is worth-remarking what has supposed the highpoint in the story of the club so far, which is getting an agreement with 20th Century Fox, by which we can view their film premières on the very same date that they are released in Hollywood.

On the other hand, thanks to some members of the club who are informatic engineers and the chance of encountering a deaf-mute friend of theirs, we have managed to incorporate sign-language ‘dialogs’ at the bottom part of the screens in several movies.

Not only have they achieved success among our members, but we have also received good deals from other clubs to sell them copies.

On top of this, the club has been awarded best business of the year by the town council.

What we could look forward to Given the success mentioned in the previous section, it should be attempted to gain more new members.

A good strategy to this end would be to keep the same membership fare.

As more people will join the club, perhaps some film session should be based upon topics relevant to some subpopulations of the members such as LGBT film nights.

Furthermore, an extra film-discussion session could be implemented on a weekday for those who prefer to take their weekend off and join the meeting to talk about that week’s set film during the week.

The year in numbers In the first semester, with the £5 membership fare, no net benefits were obtained.

Notwithstanding this initial situation, after the Fox agreement and selling of films incorporating the sign language on-screen option, the economic outcome could be as tangible as £25,000 in our bank account.

With these profits the club should consider opening new venues across the country and enter the stoke exchanging market.

Taking into account all the aspects herein covered, the club has had the best year so far.

So is this, that it could consider going into the stoke market and expanding thanks to the improvements implemented and the events held during the year.
