How l maintain hard meaning English words?

when l read any book and find any the word that is hard to maintain for me, l write this word in one notebook and l review its every day for one week.And then l abandon those words for one week and one week later read those words again.

lf l do not learn and maintain those words, l write those word in another notebook, but this time write roots and spell and synonyms and the history of those words and overview those words again.

lf l can not maintain again, l write one essay about and loading in Polyglotclub.

After all of these ways if l can not maintain any word l butt my hat to wall and repeat all of those process again.
