    • Some parents buy their children a large number of toys to play with.
    • What are the advantages and disadvantages for the children to have a large number of toys?
    • In the past little girls had only a rag doll to play with and little boys had a ball.
    • Today children have plenty of toys among to choose that to play with.
    • Today toys are built to help the child's mental develop, so a toy is useful to improve his linguistic skills and another to improve his maths skills and so on.
    • But if it is true that most of toys have a purpose for the child's develop it is also true that the children, who had only a ball to play with, made exercise and spent a lot of time playing outside with other children.
    • The children, who had only a toy and who knew that if they ruined it they had to wait to have another learned to look after it, while today children who have plenty of toys they don't mind if they break one because they have others to play with and they also know their parents will buy them another one.
    • At this point the real question is if it is the number of toys the problem or if the problem is the way these toys are used to educate the children?
    • If toys are a way for the parents to quiet their guilty feeling of not being enough present in their children's life, a large number of toys are a disadvantages.
    • Children are accostumed to receive toys at every moment and as a result of this they don't learn what earning something means and at the same way they are accostumed to have a new one every time they ruin something so they learn that everything can be replaced and don't learn the importance of looking for the things and people.
    • After hashing out the pros and cons of this question, it is felt that is not the large number of toys to influence the education of children but it is their use.
