  • About myself

    • I have lived in Russia for the most part of my life.
    • Speaking of my personality, I can say, that I successfully embody an extrovert’s and introvert’s qualities.
    • I like to be in a company of friends or students, communicate and get a real pleasure from this.
    • That is the reason why I worked at the museum.
  • I get a real pleasure from communication.
    • My friends also like my sense of humor and kind-heartedness.
    • At the same time, when I stay alone, I can also enjoy myself while reading a good book or studying something new.
    • I am open for the new information and always interested in getting new knowledge.
    • Last six years of my life I have spent on getting a higher education.
    • I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, as I graduated from the university in 2014.
  • Now I am getting a master’s degree in both linguistics and pedagogics – actually I am graduating next summer.
  • This autumn I have also finished TESOL’s education and got TESOL certificate that includes business education and education for young learners.
    • Unfortunately, I can not say that I have a great teaching experience behind me, as I am an entry-level teacher, and my experience is limited by the recent internship at the university this autumn, where I have taught first-year students during two month.
  • Nevertheless, I am very enthusiastic about the opportunity to become a teacher and start my teaching career in a foreign country.
    • I have chosen teaching children as a starting point because I like children, and because, in my opinion, teaching of young learners will help me to reveal my creativity, as I like bring a variety in the classroom activities, I like to step away from a formal teaching.
    • It seems to me that the best place to practice my skills and knowledge is a primary school class.
    • What is more, to be honest with you, for me this is not only a chance to get an interesting and unusual job and gain wonderful experience, but also meet with Chinese culture, learn Chinese language, and feel myself in the position that Chinese people usually call "Laowai" or "Old foreighner" (or it would be better to say "In "Laowai's" shoes"?).
