  • What Philosophy Guides Your Work?

  • Well, when people ask me about the philosophy that guides my work, it usually reminds me of the old quotation by Benjamin Franklin who once said: Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn.
  • So, what is my teaching philosophy?
    • It based upon this statement.
    • For me it is vitally important to involve (or it would be better to say “to engage”) all the students into a learning process.
  • How am I going to achieve this?
    • Of course, through the usage of different activities in the classroom, through the variety that suits for all learning styles and intelligences, through the usage of technical devices and visual aids, through getting to know the students, their behavior and their goals.
  • And there is no doubt, that it is impossible to involve everyone into a learning process without creating authentic conditions and atmosphere.
    • Actually, all that I have mentioned above supposes creating genuine atmosphere - amiable atmosphere, where one of the main teacher’s tasks is to care, support and encourage and it also means that I do not accept bulling and violence in a classroom at all.
  • I welcome everyone’s participation.
  • Everyone should feel free to work.
  • That is the philosophy that guides my work.
