    • Several days ago, exactly on the 20th march 2013 took place the ceremony of the Brit Awards .
    • This ceremony is an important musical event in Britain and we can as consider it as the equivalent of the Grammy Awards which is the American version .
  • The awards began in 1977 as part of the commemoration of the Queen’s Silver Jubilee and it became an annual event in 1982 thanks to the British record industry's trade association.
    • It was one of the first ceremonies show to be broadcast on the BBC .
    • Since 1989 the ceremony was broadcast the following night but now and from 2007 british people have the oportunity to watch it on live on their tv .
    • Now this event still happens once a year to encourage singers by giving them awards .
    • Some singers are giving a live representation, it's also a good occasion for them to sing new songs to advertise their new album .
    • This year those singers won the most prestigious awards we can name Emilie Sandé,Ben Howard,Adèle,Lana del Rey etc...
