My friend asked me to show his poems in English in this site.

THE SAINTS Inspired by and dedicated to George Gordon Noel Byron.

The sky is dark, but they can see the stars, There's no sound, but they can hear the lark; They see the Sun, - it's raining all the day, Nowhere to run - so they can show the Way.

Yes, they can lead us - shall we follow now?

Yes, they can fly - so shall we leave the ground?

They call us, - but we cannot hear the Voice...

It is too late: they've gone, we've made the Choice... 2007 г.

---------- THE TIME IS GONE...

The time is gone...

And what's for now?

The sweetest joy?

The dreadful pain?

Oh, God, what was my life about?

I can't believe, it was in vain... 2011 г.

----------- A HOLY WAR.

When someone tells me: "It's a Holy War!", - My heart, through all the arguments, replies: "The Art of Death is still the worst of Arts, All Wars are Holy - only for one side!".

------------ Man! You know nothing about the Fate of this World, And you know nothing about the End of this Life!

You must be happy for have not you said your last Word, And to laud God for this Miracle to be Alive!

We both now are winners!

I'll be back 'n a minute, - My dear, relax, don't be shy!', - I sat on a sofa To do what was offered, Or should I say: 'I'd tried to try'?

You told me: 'My dear, Do look at the mirror, - I am almost ready, at last'; - You're putting on lipstick, The best one for kissing, - 'Is there the right colour?' - you asked.

You turned on the music; - If 'tis an illusion, - The greatest illusion I've seen, - Most beauteous of beauties!

- Your hair was fluttered, - Oh, my!

- by the warm summer wind!

One step - you've embraced me, - All kisses, caresses And all of that words, which we kept Through times we were parted And both brokenhearted, - They all were recalled to be said.

Were taken by passion, We've lost our patience, - It seemed that we broke... What? The glass?

All words, that were spoken: 'Lest there be a token Of sadness, but happ'ness for us!'.

'T was a resurrection Of the sweet connection Not only of bodies, - of Souls, - Much closer than near, Each of us could hear The dearest heartbeat in the world...

'Forget all the doubts', - Hearts whispered, - 'Run out, The children of times, that passed by!

The Saints and the Sinners, Don't bore us! We're winners!

We won unforgettable Lives!'.

And where do we go Tomorrow, - who knows it?

And all forecasts are in vain, - We'll go through the fears, Being closer, than near, Repeating again and again: 'At last, you are here!
