  • The most important thing I've learnt from my workout

  • Patience: It's not only about enduring during the workout but much more: doing research, making a diet plan, trying the exercises which suit me the best...
  • The most terrifying part must be doing the research at the beginning, because it's basically "learning from scratch" on my own.
  • Instead of just using the routines (which already included diet plan, exercises,...) provided by other experienced bodybuilders, I decided to learn everything and build it myself.
    • It was much more difficult than I'd thought, plenty of questions popped in my head: Why should we focus on protein-carb-fat?
  • Should I do dropsets or regular sets?
  • What's the best frequency?
  • Why is this exercise the best by this fitness guru while some others said it's not?? etc...
  • I've almost given up at that point .But then I thought: "If I manage to understand all of this, I'd not only do them well but could also find and fix my mistakes and avoid falling into confusion".
  • Bit by bit, I've finally achieved what I'd aimed for.
  • Not only I can figure out how to fix my errors (which I wasn't able to) but I can improve my workouts as well thanks to my strong knowledge base in lifting.
  • Everything seems so clear now comparing with 1 year ago.
  • And from that, I've learnt another truth about "being patient": Being patient is not about keep on doing the same thing which you already get used to do.
  • It's about how you keep moving forward despite how tiresome and disheartened you feel.
