An Abstract of a research paper - thank you in advance! :)
- The paper demonstrates the feasibility of a positive influence on writing skills by students due to blogging.
- Current research presents the comparison experiment, capable of overcoming the methodical limitations, identified in previous studies.
- The experimental study was conducted on two randomly selected groups of students (EG – 28 students and CG – 29 students) ages between 18-19.
- Participants were given the same materials and both were required to write journals, though only EG students blogged their works.
- The quantitative technique of research was created in order to detect if there were considerable differences between the learning attitude towards journal writing and the progress in the writing performances.
- Upon examination of these studies, it becomes clear that with few peculiar limitations the previous enquiries concerning blogging as a way for EFL student writers to a significant improvement of writing skills and attitudes towards writing itself are inconsistent.
