In New York you can supplement the firefighters but if you want to get in on any action you have to get in the scene petty early.

Commonly there are many others volunteers who are eager to lend a hand, thus If you want find out your assignments you have to run to the captain in charge.

I remember a wacky story which involves one of these volunteers who was stunned with jealousy because the captain waved over another one to get in the scene to save a dog in a burning house .

This man couldn't have dealt with the other one getting tell people that he saved a creature in fire.

This probably is an example of courage on an individual basis but I think is not different from many others acts of generosity of which I am witness and that because they all matter.

So, the life doesn't offer us the chance to save somebody's life, but every day offers us an opportunity to affect one.
