    • 10 ways to get lost in a city

    • - Pretend to be the greatest map reader of all times but forget to check where the North of the city is.
  • - ... or forget the map at home.
  • - Ask people the way.
  • People are not trustful.
  • One day I walked up and down the same street for more than 30 minutes because people kept sending me to the opposite direction (like a new kind of pinball…).
    • - Get into the subway without checking what direction it is going because you’re too proud of finding the right line.
  • - Remember where a certain place is by “It’s next to a roundabout not far from home” (another of my great adventures that took me kilometres away from where I wanted to go because there are lots of roundabouts here…).
  • - Believe strongly that if two streets start at the same place and seem to go in the same direction it automatically means that they are parallel (big mistake).
    • - Lose all your points of reference by going to a park that is so wide that you soon can’t remember where you’ve come from - Forget the indication you had be given, or mistake your right for your left - Take the bus.
    • Buses are vicious. And too many.
    • They seem to never stop where you want them to stop.
  • - Trust your friend who has no sense of direction and pretends to take you to that place that is “just down the hill”.
