• Shrouded in the haze, Chinese people are expressing greater concern about the air pollution.

• As far as I'm concerned, this custom should not be abandened.

• Before giving support to my viewpoint， we cannot deny that the firecrackers do cause air pollution and invoke security problems.

• For one thing, the dire sitution of nowaday's air pollution is mainly due to car exhaust emission and the heavy industry which is unreasonably structured.

• The smoke from firecrackers has nothing to compare with them in the terms of pollution.

• For another, it is true that if the reckless children do not follow the instructions when shooting off the firecrackers, they will probably take the risque of burning themselves.However, followed the directions or accompanied by parents, they tend to avoid this kind of accident.

• I dare to say that, an increasing number of people draw the conclusion that the Spring Festival are becoming less traditional and joyful by the impact of modernism.

• Setting off firecrackers is capable of providing a harmonious atmosphere among all the family numbers reunited toghether instead of seperated for their owns business like watching TV or playing video games.

• Moreover, when we are living aboard, this atmosphere created by firecrackers will grow in importance and provide the overseas Chinese with an intensive sense of belonging.

• Chinese nation is famous for its bustling life.The firecrackers symbles not only a magnifique show but also the hope and the best wishes for the coming new year."Sweeping away the old and starting afresh", perhaps nothing but the crepitation of firecrackers can send off the old year and predict people that spring wind will bring warmth into thousands of homes.

• In conclusion, so long as we respect the regulations and avoid overdoing, the tradition of setting firecrackers can be well preserved generation by generation.
