Which case in this case?

Hi, I need help with the following sentence:

Mama je _________ za _________ poklonila _________. (sin, diploma, knjiga)

My guess is that both "diploma" and "knjiga" are used in the accusative case but what about "sin"? Which case would I use?

Mama je sinu za diplomu poklonila knjigu.
In this case ˝sin˝ you use a dative.
