🐐 Scenic Forests & Rustic Farmland Hike (+ Goat Feeding) 🐐

Join us for an unforgettable adventure on February 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM, as we explore the enchanting trails connecting Osaka and Nara. Our journey will take us along the historic Nara-kaido Road, which has been a vital link for over a millennium.

Winding through serene farmland and tranquil forests, this hike leads us to the stunning peak of Kuragari Toge, also known as the Pass into Darkness. Experience breathtaking vistas of Osaka City from various viewing platforms and visit charming shrines and temples that punctuate the landscape.

We’ll make a delightful stop at the Lucky Garden Cafe and Restaurant, where you can indulge in a selection of delicious meals, refreshing drinks, and sweet desserts.

But that’s not all! Prepare to have fun feeding and interacting with adorable goats and sheep at the café!

Train Fare: ¥1,060

Please ensure you wear comfortable hiking shoes, dress warmly, and carry plenty of water. Feel free to bring your own lunch or enjoy the offerings at Lucky Garden.

Event Itinerary:

• 11:00-11:15 - Gather at Kintetsu Osaka-Namba
• 11:15-11:20 - Proceed to the train platform
• 11:22 - Board the semi-express train to Yamato Saidaiji
• 11:45-12:00 - Arrive at Hiraoka Station; time for vending machines and restroom break
• 12:00-1:30 - Hike through Kuragari Toge to Lucky Garden
• 1:30-2:15 - Lunch and animal interactions at Lucky Garden
• 2:15-3:00 - Continue hiking to Hozanji
• 3:00-3:30 - Explore the beautiful Hozanji area
• 4:00-4:05 - Take the cable car down to Ikoma Station
• 4:12 - Catch the Kintetsu Express back to Osaka Namba
• 4:37 - Farewell!
