With an equal mix of foreigners and Japanese participants, the atmosphere is fantastic. If you're interested in hiking, please come join us:)

We'll enjoy a leisurely 3-hour walk, passing through breathtaking cedar trees and reaching the awe-inspiring summit. These views are truly the best in Kyoto!!:)

Along the way, we'll pass the bonfire site where an ancient ritual takes place. After that, we'll descend easily and walk along the "Philosopher's Path" at the base.

Please remember to wear appropriate hiking shoes, bring lunch, water, and dress according to the weather.

Participation fee: ¥1,500

Level: 2.5 out of 5. This hike is of medium difficulty.

Train fare: ¥1,100 one way

WHERE: Umeda Central JR Gates ("JR Osaka Station")
(Outside the north gate of the midosuji line of the JR Osaka station. Right next to the 2 escalators)
