EXPAND YOUR NETWORK
At Chatterbox, you’ll engage in at least one conversation with every participant! Our diverse range of activities ensures you will connect with multiple attendees through both one-on-one discussions and group interactions of different sizes throughout the event.

COMMON INTERESTS
Utilizing insights from your registration responses and the conversations you have, we will equip you with the resources to form groups, participate in activities, and make friends who share similar interests. Each event will focus on languages and themes shaped by the attendees present.

FREEDOM OF CHOICE
You won’t be assigned to specific seats or groups. Instead, you’ll have the freedom to choose whom you wish to converse with based on your preferences, allowing for a mix of interactions throughout the event and multiple chances to engage with different individuals in various scenarios.

Bring along a first-time attendee to join us for FREE! Simply accompany your guest to the Registration Desk at the start of the event and speak to a Small World representative to waive YOUR attendance fee! (The first-time guest will pay the standard fee.)

Small World’s unique language exchange, Chatterbox, stands as one of the largest language events in Nagoya, celebrated for its structured format! Participants from around the world come together to practice English and Japanese, create new friendships, share knowledge, and draw inspiration from the talented individuals present!

NEW CONNECTIONS (新たな繋がり)
We guarantee that you’ll have a conversation with every participant at least once! Through a variety of engaging activities, you will have the opportunity to converse with numerous people in one-on-one settings or in groups of varying sizes.

SHARED INTERESTS (共通の趣味関心)
Based on your pre-event questionnaire and discussions with fellow attendees, we’ll provide you with tools to form groups, complete activities, and build friendships with those who share your interests. Each month's language and themes will be tailored to the participants attending.

MORE FREEDOM (より自由に)
Rather than assigning you to specific seats or groups, we empower you to choose your conversation partners based on who you connect with best. Regular mixing of participants ensures you receive multiple opportunities to engage with a variety of people in different contexts.

Want to join for FREE? 😁

To attend for FREE, simply come with someone who has never attended Chatterbox before! Upon arrival at the event, check in at the registration desk with your guest and inform a Small World staff member to have your fee waived! (The new attendee will pay the standard fee.)
