Join us for the official language exchange event by Small World, Chatterbox, one of Nagoya's largest and best-organized language exchange gatherings! Participants from around the globe come to enhance their language skills, forge new friendships, share knowledge, and draw inspiration from the vibrant community in Nagoya.

Chatterbox 2 emphasizes NEW CONNECTIONS, SHARED INTERESTS, and GREATER FREEDOM.

NEW CONNECTIONS
At Chatterbox, we ensure that you will engage in meaningful conversations with each participant! Through a variety of activities, you'll have the chance to connect with multiple individuals in both one-on-one discussions and group interactions throughout the event.

SHARED INTERESTS
Utilizing the insights from your registration form and the conversations you have, we will provide you with the resources to form groups, participate in activities, and meet new friends who share similar interests. Each month's language and themes will be tailored based on the attendees.

GREATER FREEDOM
We believe in giving you the autonomy to choose your conversations! Instead of assigning seats or groups, you will have the freedom to connect with those you vibe with best, while regularly mixing things up to provide you with diverse speaking opportunities.

Invite someone who has never attended Chatterbox to join you for FREE! Just bring your guest to the Registration Desk at the event's start. Speak to a Small World representative to waive your attendance fee! (The standard fee will apply to first-time attendees.)

Small World’s original language exchange event, Chatterbox, is highly praised as one of the largest language exchange gatherings in Nagoya, recognized for its well-structured format. Participants gather from all corners of the globe to practice English and Japanese, make new friends, share knowledge, and be inspired by the talents within the community!

Chatterbox 2 focuses on NEW CONNECTIONS (新たな繋がり), SHARED INTERESTS (共通の興味関心), and GREATER FREEDOM (より自由に).

NEW CONNECTIONS (新たな繋がり)
We guarantee that you will engage in at least one conversation with every participant! Through diverse activities, you will have the opportunity to converse one-on-one, or in various group sizes.

SHARED INTERESTS (共通の趣味関心)
Based on your pre-event survey and the conversations you have, we will equip you with the tools to form groups with participants who share similar interests, complete activities, and create new friendships. Each month’s language and themes will be curated based on the attendees.

GREATER FREEDOM (より自由に)
Instead of assigning fixed seats or groups, we allow you to choose whom to converse with based on your connections. Regularly mixing participants will ensure you have numerous opportunities to engage in various scenarios.
