Do you like trekking?

Well, I go trekking in the mountains every Sunday and enjoy breathtaking landscapes. I go there with CAI (Club Alpino Italiano), we leave from Milan by bus, it's very cheap and confortable (a trip costs only €18).

What about practising languages in the open air in a wonderful place?

WHEN??

I'll go trekking to Monte Aiona and Monte Penna next Sunday, the 28th of October.

If you are interested, you should go to the CAI office by today, Friday the 26th of October, in via Silvio Pellico 6 (MM1 Duomo) and book a seat if there are any left. To book a trip it's necessary to have the CAI card for accident insurance. The card costs around €40 and is valid until the end of March (which is convenient for me, as I go to the mountains every week). If you have no time to go to CAI, you can pay the insurance card and the trip cost by phone with a credit card (02-86463516). On Fridays the office is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

You can find several photos of Monte Aiona and Monte Penna on Google, if you want to have an idea of where we'll go trekking.

If you come, don't forget to put on a pair of trekking shoes, bring a pair of mountain sticks (very useful in the descent) and wear a windbreaker.

WHERE will we leave from?

You have three possibilities:

1) Piazza Medaglie d’oro (MM3 P.ta Romana) at 6.30 a.m.

2) Via Paleocapa - stazione Cadorna F.N. at 6.45 a.m.

3) Famagosta (near the exit of the MM2 Famagosta) at 7.00 a.m.

We'll come back to Milan at about 8.00 p.m.

See you!!

Max :-)

P.s.: I'm not payed by CAI for advertising, I simply suggest it to you because it's one of the cheapest way to get to the mountains with qualified guides who show you the path to follow and look after you and having an accident insurance.

Cool, Max! I just sent a group mailing to all the Polyglots living in Milan. Just two days before your event may be too short a notice, but we'll see... We insist that you allow at least 2/3 weeks before a Polyglot Meeting, so that all the participants can mark their calendar.

All the best!
