Embark on an enchanting journey with Jakarta Friends as we explore the lively streets and hidden alleys of Glodok, the iconic and historic Chinatown area, and Kota Tua.

Immerse yourself in captivating stories, indulge in culinary delights, and marvel at the architectural wonders that have shaped this cultural gem for generations.

This event is free (excluding optional museum entries and food and drinks consumed) and will be led by knowledgeable locals. Kindly RSVP to show respect to the organizers and fellow attendees on the waitlist. Repeated no-shows may result in removal from the group. Thank you for your cooperation.

We will gather in front of Museum Bank Mandiri and conclude with a delightful lunch at Café Batavia or a nearby café. Please note that the exact schedule, apart from the start and end time, may be subject to change. Be punctual to ensure you don't miss the group.

The duration is approximately 4 hours, including the optional lunch. Wear comfortable shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, and come with an open mind for cultural exploration. We will proceed regardless of the weather, even if it rains!

We encourage participants to interact respectfully with the locals, take photographs in designated areas, and embrace the diverse cultural tapestry that Chinatown has to offer.
