Welcome to North Rhine-Westphalia Polyglot Network!
You have arrived in the most densely populated state of Germany. About 17.5 million people live here. Four of Germany's ten biggest cities are located in this state, one of which is Düsseldorf, the capital of NRW.
The state shares borders with Belgium and the Netherlands as foreign countries and with Lower Saxony, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Hesse as other German states.

![]() | John_K48July 2012 Well, I dare say, my activities during my Bonner time (and that's 5 years by now) are not that shining example (seen from the point of polyglot). To organise a complet meeting, I'm afraid, might be a thing rather big. But why not try some smaller things from time to time. A bike tour perhaps or a visit of an Irish pub, or a museum. Bonn has got some. It's just an idea. I'm just not fond of masses of people. And for me I'd just prefer to confine myself on corners where the chatting languages might be limited by number. French, English, German perhaps. It's not meant as an objection. It's just to be able to focuse on something. Would be glad about some feedbacks! |
