Don't forget that this Meeting is about to GIVE & TAKE - TEACH & LEARN/PRACTICE ... Therefore, we can't be one without the other. It works good, till now, in this form, also, go there to learn, but also to offer your service.


By joining us, you can become a "LET-Pupil" and gain access to this group. All that is asked in return is that you also become a "LET-TEACHER", willing to help others learning your language (see our suggested proceeding below).



PROCEEDING ("rules") OF THE MEETING, (it is a suggestion ... we can of course modify it):

We are going to form groups of languages, and we are going to move from table to table (1 Table = 1 Language)

In each table should be at least 1 person who speaks the target language as a native speaker ... - in this way, everybody will be able TO TEACH and TO LEARN.

For example ... you are German (also you can teach German), and you want to improve your french and Spanish ... and you stay in the meeting for like 2 hours ...

If there's more Germans, you can agree, who is going to moderate the group first ...

1- you begin in the native language (IE German group)
2- after a while (i.e. 45min) you can change in the foreign language (but you should look for some other German, that moderate the group ...)

If there's no native speakers for a language, we just only form a group with people who want to practice this language (they also should act as a moderators in their own languages) ...

If there's natives speakers for a language, but nobody want to learn this language :-( ... then they choose a language that they think they can TEACH and with this language (as native speaker) move among the groups ...

Very important!: to correct and to accept being corrected !

######### WE ARE USUALLY PRACTICING GERMAN, FRENCH AND SPANISH LATELY, SOME ENGLISH AS WELL. IF YOU LIKE TO LEARN/TEACH ANOTHER LANGUAGE AND YOU'RE GOING FOR THE FIRST TIME, LET PEOPLE KNOW BY WRITING A SHORT MESSAGE IN THE GROUP !! - IN THIS WAY, EVERYBODY WILL BE ABLE TO KNOW, IF THERES SOMEBODY AT THE MEETING WHO CAN "TEACH" ANOTHER LANGUAGE #########

First Location (from May till August ´12): BierMuseum, Buttermarkt 39 - OR outside at the Rin (in front of Haxenhaus Restaurant) - Cologne

In September ´12: We were looking for an alternative location
