Join us for an exciting event, "LAST ENGLISH IN THE PARK UNTIL 2024: conversation en anglais!" happening on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10:00 AM. This will be our final English meetup in the park for this year, so don't miss it!

Please take note that starting from October 21st, we will be moving to CAFE PERL, so be sure to mark your calendars. Due to high demand, we recommend signing up in advance for Saturday mornings to secure your spot. If you're on the waitlist, kindly inform Johnna so she can accommodate you if a space becomes available.

In case of rain, we will still proceed with the event. Bring something to sit on like a blanket or plastic bag, and an umbrella if necessary. We'll walk the park together in small groups. If the weather is severe enough to cancel the event, we will notify everyone two hours prior.

Our meetup will take place in Parc de la Tête d'Or from May 6th until mid-October. Please refer to the PIN on the map for the exact location. The nearest metro stations are Charpennes, Massena, and Brotteaux, while the nearest bus stop is Parc de la Tête d'Or - Verguin. Remember, our meeting points are "Entrée du lycée du parc" and "Entrée Tête d'Or," NOT near the main entrance called Entrée des Enfants du Rhone.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BELOW

To support our groups and ensure their sustainability, we kindly ask for a suggested one-time donation of 10€ for the entire year. By donating at least 1 euro, you will receive a digital annual pass that grants you access to both our groups, INTERNATIONAL HANGOUT and COFFEE AND ENGLISH. You can provide your donation in cash during the event or request our PayPal address or bank details for a bank transfer.

Since 2022, we have implemented a free-will donation system to encourage commitment and reduce last-minute cancellations and no-shows. Your support is greatly appreciated.

WE MEET OUTSIDE AT THE PARK UNTIL MID-OCTOBER. PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME TO AVOID DISRUPTING THE GROUPS.

During the event, we will divide into small groups of around 7 to 10 people. Engage in conversations, ask questions, and actively participate. This is a conversational group designed for all levels of English proficiency. It's a fun and enjoyable way to practice your English skills!
