Hello Polyglot athletes!!

What ?

Once a year is held the ' Course du Chateau'. This year is the 10th anniversary of the race, so don't miss out! The finish will be INSIDE the Chateau de Vincennes!

This is a FUN 10Km race right in the woods of Vincennes. For details, click on this link:

Your level does not matter, it is just for the fun of the race and to enjoy the overall atmosphere =) And remember, it is not the winning, it is the participating!

What I propose is to take part in the 10 AM race. You can either participate in running at a comfortable pace, or try to improve your PB (Personal Best) =)

You do not HAVE to pay, in order to participate. The race is held along the regular trails of the 'Bois de Vincennes', which are part of the PUBLIC domain. You are already paying for the maintenance of  these public premises,  in your taxes =) Well I guess this is a political statement, so I'll stop at that -)

When ?

Sunday 3 June 2007, at 9:30AM

IMPORTANT: be there BEFORE 9:30AM, to be sure to meet, and to WARM UP before the race! The race starts at 10 AM sharp!

Where ?

Better to meet at Metro: Chateau de Vincennes (line 1), right outside the metro station. Please REGISTER if you wish to come, so we know who we are waiting for !!

If you are late, of if you wish to join us DIRECTLY on the start line, go to:
Route de la Pyramide, Chateau de Vincennes.

But BE AWARE that, although there are thousands of runners,  the start line is NOT easy to find, because  farther in the woods.

Oops, sorry Banzai! Too much we missed each other last Sunday. Well, the race you mentioned sounds good to me, but ONLY if not too far out of Paris. I just don't want to spend my Sunday travelling =)

Beautiful race and momentous finish right inside the unique medieval Chateau de Vincennes!



I am afraid that there was a major problem with the RATP metro line 1 this morning, so some of you may not have been able to make it on time. Tony and I both arrived at 9:50am, after a 20mn wait for a metro =( Since we did not see anyone at the meeting point, we assumed that the rest of the group were either still stranded in the metro, or already on the start line.



Hope you had good fun, because we DID!
