Cocktail Tasting and Crafting Workshop

New and old friends at PET are eager to participate in cocktail-related courses, to fully understand cocktails. However, such courses are scarce and expensive. For those who seek to expand knowledge and add enjoyment to life without becoming a professional mixologist, it's unnecessary to spend thousands or tens of thousands to learn. That's why we offer the PET special cocktail workshop. Led by the IT industry guru Simon, who brings the most informative, practical, and cost-effective cocktail tasting and crafting workshop in the capital city. Spend just 9 hours to comprehensively understand cocktail knowledge and culture, and under the guidance of the instructor, craft several classic cocktails. Transform from a novice to a skilled mixologist who can taste and mix drinks, shining as the star when taking friends to the bar. If you wish, like instructor Simon, you can set up your own home bar/cocktail party, becoming a fun and knowledgeable party expert.

Workshop 1 Cocktail Culture and Tasting

You will learn:

Cocktail past, present, and future, understanding the culture of cocktails
How to evaluate a cocktail
Get to know the bar workstation, cocktail tools, practice basic mixing techniques
Learn to make Gin & Tonic, Mojito, Whiskey Sour
Self-introduction of students, recalling the first cocktail they ever drank

Workshop 2 Cocktail Classification and Social Etiquette

You will learn:

Learn the six major cocktail base spirits, various types of cocktails
Practice blending, stirring, shaking, and straining methods
Learn to make Tequila Sunrise, Negroni, Gin Fizz
Introduction to social etiquette at Cocktail Events

Workshop 3 Mixology Advancement and Cocktail Parties

You will learn:

Learn about wine, liqueurs, beer, and their roles in cocktails
How to host a home cocktail party
How to create your own cocktail
Learn to make Aperol Spritz, Martini, Cosmopolitan
Students' free exchange, sharing insights on cocktails gained over the past 3 weeks

Certified Mixologist Exam: Written + Mixing

You will gain:

Official PET Certified Mixologist Certificate

Become a PET Party intern mixologist,
Invited to PET's cocktail social events, meet like-minded individuals, broaden horizons
Mix drinks for friends for free, and for other friends for a fee

Simon / Artistic/Skilled/Unconventional Uncle
Simon is a typical versatile youth who has worked in a renowned American company for over a decade, becoming an IT industry guru. He enjoys running, completing 9 100km runs, loves movies, watches at least 100 a year, writes reviews diligently. He loves hanging out at bars and making cocktails. After systematic learning and practice, he became a certified mixologist, setting up a private bar at home. He treats himself to a cocktail every evening after work and often invites friends over for ladder-climbing sessions.
