Cocktail Tasting & Making Workshop

PET's newcomers and regulars are eager to participate in cocktail-related courses to fully understand cocktails. However, such courses are scarce and costly, unnecessary for those who seek knowledge and more fun in life rather than becoming professional mixologists. That's why we offer PET's unique cocktail workshop. Led by the IT industry's artistic and professional guru, Simon. He brings you the most informative, practical, and cost-effective cocktail tasting and making workshop in the capital. In just 9 hours, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of cocktail knowledge and culture, and under the guidance of the instructor, you'll craft several classic cocktails. Transform from a novice drinker to a cocktail connoisseur who can both taste and mix drinks, shining bright as the star when taking friends to a bar. If you wish, you can follow in instructor Simon's footsteps and host your own home bar/cocktail party, becoming a fun and knowledgeable party-goer.

Workshop 1: Cocktail Culture & Tasting

You will learn:

The past, present, and future of cocktails, understanding cocktail culture
How to evaluate a cocktail
Familiarize with bar workstations, cocktail tools, practice basic mixing techniques
Learn to make Gin & Tonic, Mojito, Whiskey Sour
Introduce yourself, recall the first cocktail you ever had

Workshop 2: Cocktail Types & Social Etiquette

You will learn:

Six major cocktail base spirits, various cocktail types
Practice blending, stirring, shaking, and straining methods
Learn to make Tequila Sunrise, Negroni, Gin Fizz
Introduction to social etiquette at Cocktail Events

Workshop 3: Advanced Mixology & Cocktail Parties

You will learn:

Study wines, liqueurs, beers, and their roles in cocktails
How to host a home-style cocktail party
How to create your own cocktail
Learn to make Aperol Spritz, Martini, Cosmopolitan
Open discussion, share insights on cocktails gained over the past 3 weeks

Certified Mixologist Exam: Written Test + Mixology

You will gain:

PET Certified Mixologist certificate
Become a PET Party intern mixologist,
Invited to PET's cocktail social events, meet like-minded individuals, broaden your horizons
Mix drinks for your friends for free, charge for mixing drinks for others
