Cocktail Tasting and Making Workshop

PET's new and old friends have been eager to participate in cocktail-related courses to gain a comprehensive understanding of cocktails. However, such courses are rare and expensive, making it unnecessary to spend thousands or even tens of thousands to learn if you simply want to expand your knowledge and add some fun to your life instead of becoming a professional mixologist. That's why we have created the PET signature cocktail workshop. Presented by Simon, an IT expert with an artistic spirit and professional mindset, this workshop offers the most informative, practical, and cost-effective cocktail tasting and making experience in Beijing. In just 9 hours, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of cocktail knowledge and culture, and under Simon's guidance, you will personally craft several classic cocktails, transforming from a novice to a versatile mixologist who can appreciate and create cocktails. Whether you take your friends to a bar or host your own cocktail party, you will shine as the star of the night. Workshop 1: Cocktail Culture and Tasting

You will learn:

The past, present, and future of cocktails, understanding the culture of cocktails
How to evaluate a cocktail
Get familiar with the bar counter and cocktail utensils, practice basic mixology techniques
Learn to make Gin & Tonic, Mojito, Whiskey Sour
Introduce yourself and share memories of your first cocktail

Workshop 2: Cocktail Classification and Social Etiquette

You will learn:

The six main base spirits of cocktails and the various types of cocktails
Practice stirring, shaking, and cutting techniques
Learn to make Tequila Sunrise, Negroni, Gin Fizz
Introduce the social etiquette to be observed at a cocktail event

Workshop 3: Advanced Mixology and Cocktail Parties

You will learn:

The role of wine, liqueur, and beer in cocktails
How to host a cocktail party at home
How to create your own signature cocktail
Learn to make Aperol Spritz, Martini, Cosmopolitan
Free exchange among participants, sharing insights gained over the past three weeks

Versatile Mixologist Certification Exam: Written Test + Mixology

Simon is a typical versatile young man who has spent over 10 years in a renowned American corporation, establishing himself as an IT expert. He enjoys running and has completed nine 100-kilometer races. He loves movies and watches at least 100 films a year, diligently writing reviews after each viewing. His passion for mixology led him to become a certified mixologist after systematic learning and repeated practice. He has even set up a private bar at home, where he rewards himself with a well-crafted cocktail after work and often invites friends for ladder climbing sessions.
