About the Event

Join us every Saturday afternoon in Beijing for an exciting outdoor sports event organized by PET. We'll be playing ultimate frisbee and engaging in a thrilling nametag ripping battle. Let's work out together and have a great time!

每周六下午，PET将组织一场令人兴奋的户外运动活动，我们将进行极限飞盘和撕名牌游戏。让我们一起锻炼身体，度过愉快的时光！

What is Ultimate Frisbee?

Ultimate Frisbee is a fast-paced, non-contact team sport played worldwide. It requires sharp throwing skills, stamina, and agility. Unlike other sports, Ultimate Frisbee is self-officiated and promotes fair play. It's a welcoming sport for newcomers and often creates a strong sense of community among players.

What is Nametag Ripping?

Nametag Ripping is an intense and confrontational team game where players protect their own name tags from being ripped while trying to eliminate opponents by ripping their name tags. The game continues until one team loses all its members.

Schedule

16:00 - 16:30: Get together and networking
16:30 - 17:00: Frisbee Training, fore/back hand, hammer...
17:00 - 17:20: Warm-up exercise
17:20 - 18:30: Ultimate Frisbee Competition
18:30 - 19:00: Nametag ripping battle
19:00 - 21:00: Dinner party

Important Information

Organizers will provide tents, picnic blankets, nametags, frisbees, and more.
Meeting place: South gate of Chaoyang park at 15:30 (according to the shared location in the WeChat group)
Please sign up in advance or pay an extra ¥30 on-site.
The event will be canceled if the number of participants is less than 1/3 of the expected number.

Alex, the community organizer, is a language enthusiast and event organizer. He established the English community "Post English Time" (PET) in 2011 with the goal of creating a trustworthy and interesting community for language learning and cultural exchange.
