Cocktail Tasting and Making Workshop

PET's new and old friends are eager to participate in cocktail-related courses to gain a comprehensive understanding of cocktails. However, such courses are rare and expensive. For those who want to expand their knowledge and enhance their lifestyle rather than becoming professional mixologists, it's not necessary to spend thousands or even tens of thousands of yuan to learn. That's why we have specially designed PET's unique cocktail workshop. It will be taught by Simon, an IT industry expert who combines an artistic flair with professional expertise. This workshop offers the most informative, practical, and cost-effective cocktail tasting and making experience in Beijing. With just 9 hours of your time, you can gain a comprehensive understanding of cocktail knowledge and culture. Under Simon's guidance, you will also have the opportunity to create several classic cocktails, transforming you from a novice to a proficient mixologist. Workshop 1: Cocktail Culture and Tasting

What you will learn:

The past, present, and future of cocktails, understanding cocktail culture
How to evaluate a cocktail
Familiarize yourself with bar workstations and tools, practice basic cocktail techniques
Learn to make Gin & Tonic, Mojito, Whiskey Sour
Introduce yourself and share memories of your first cocktail

Workshop 2: Cocktail Classification and Social Etiquette

What you will learn:

Learn about the six base spirits and various cocktail categories
Practice mixing, stirring, shaking, and straining techniques
Learn to make Tequila Sunrise, Negroni, Gin Fizz
Introduce social etiquette for cocktail events

Workshop 3: Advanced Mixology and Cocktail Parties

What you will learn:

Learn about wine, sake, beer, and their roles in cocktails
How to host a cocktail party at home
Create your own signature cocktail

Certification Exam for Cocktail Enthusiasts: Written Test + Mixology

Simon is a typical multi-talented individual. After more than a decade of working in a renowned American company, he has become an IT industry expert. He loves running and has completed nine 100-kilometer races. He is also an avid moviegoer, watching at least 100 films a year and writing thoughtful reviews. With a passion for bar-hopping and mixology, Simon became a certified mixologist through systematic learning and practice. He even set up a private home bar, treating himself to a well-crafted cocktail after work and frequently inviting friends for ladder-climbing adventures.
