Welcome to the Beijing Happy Chinese Corner!
Join us at the Beijing Happy Chinese Corner for an exciting opportunity to make new friends, share knowledge, and exchange experiences, all in Chinese! This event is open to both Chinese friends looking to engage in lively discussions with interesting and friendly Chinese-speaking foreigners, as well as foreign friends learning Chinese who want to meet new people and have fun while practicing their language skills.

Every week, we gather in a cozy cafe for a two-hour session. The first hour is dedicated to "self introductions" in Chinese, followed by a group activity where we take turns reading aloud and translating a short and interesting article in Chinese (source: www.slow-chinese.com). This activity is a great way to practice both English and Chinese. In the second hour, we encourage everyone to mingle freely in Chinese and enjoy casual conversations.

In addition to our regular meetups, we also organize occasional events such as KTV nights, outdoor activities, and group dinners. These events provide further opportunities to bond, have fun, and deepen our understanding of different cultures.

The only cost to participate in this activity is the purchase of one drink or snack from the counter. It's a small price to pay for an evening of language practice, friendship, and cultural exchange!
