Throughout the session, Simon will guide you step by step in creating three classic cocktails, allowing you to not only expand your knowledge but also indulge in the pleasure of mixology and tasting.

Whether you want to impress your friends with personalized drink recommendations or create a special cocktail just for them, understanding the art of mixology can be the perfect way to establish a connection.

But with so many cocktail variations and techniques, it's hard to know where to start without proper guidance. That's where our PET Cocktail Tasting and Mixology Workshop comes in.

Designed for both beginners and cocktail enthusiasts, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn from the best. Led by Simon, an IT professional with a passion for mixology, the workshop combines artistic flair with professional expertise. In just 9 hours, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of cocktail culture, learn the skills to create classic cocktails, and transform yourself from a novice to a skilled mixologist. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to impress your friends by hosting your own cocktail parties and becoming the life of the party.

Workshop 1: Cocktail Culture and Tasting

You'll learn:

- The past, present, and future of cocktails, gaining insight into cocktail culture
- How to evaluate a cocktail and appreciate its flavors
- Familiarize yourself with the tools of the trade and practice basic mixology techniques
- Create Gin & Tonic, Mojito, and Whiskey Sour cocktails
- Share your first cocktail experience and introduce yourself to fellow participants

Workshop 2: Cocktail Classification and Social Etiquette

You'll learn:

- The six primary cocktail spirits and the various types of cocktails they can create
- Techniques such as stirring, shaking, and cutting garnishes
- Create Tequila Sunrise, Negroni, and Gin Fizz cocktails
- Understand the social etiquette for cocktail events

Workshop 3: Advanced Mixology and Cocktail Parties

You'll learn:

- The role of wine, fortified wine, and beer in cocktails
- How to host a successful cocktail party at home
- Craft your own signature cocktail
- Create Aperol Spritz, Martini, and Cosmopolitan cocktails
- Share your insights and experiences with cocktails during the workshop

Certification Exam: Written Test + Mixology

You'll receive:

- PET Certified Mixologist Certificate
- Become a PET Party intern mixologist and get invited to exclusive social events to expand your network and broaden your horizons
- Offer your friends complimentary cocktails or provide paid mixology services for others
