However, with the wide variety of cocktail types and recipes, it's hard to understand the true secrets behind them without proper learning.

Cocktail Tasting and Making Workshop

PET's new and existing friends are eager to participate in cocktail-related courses to gain a comprehensive understanding of cocktails. However, such courses are rare and expensive, especially for those who are not looking to become professional mixologists but simply want to expand their knowledge and add more fun to their lives. That's why we have created PET's unique cocktail workshop. Led by Simon, an IT industry professional with an artistic spirit and a passion for mixology, this workshop offers the most informative, practical, and cost-effective cocktail tasting and making experience in the city. In just 9 hours, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of cocktail knowledge and culture, and learn to make several classic cocktails under the guidance of an experienced instructor. You will transform from a cocktail novice to a versatile mixologist who can appreciate and create cocktails, making you the shining star when you take your friends to a bar. And if you're willing, you can even follow in Simon's footsteps by hosting your own home bar or cocktail parties, becoming a fun and knowledgeable party expert.

Workshop 1: Cocktail Culture and Tasting

You will learn:

The past, present, and future of cocktails, understanding the culture of cocktails
How to evaluate a cocktail
Getting to know the bar counter and cocktail tools, practicing basic mixology techniques
How to make Gin & Tonic, Mojito, Whiskey Sour
Introduction and sharing of participants' first cocktail experiences

Workshop 2: Cocktail Classification and Social Etiquette

You will learn:

The six major base spirits for cocktails and the various types of cocktails they create
Practicing mixing, stirring, shaking, and cutting techniques
How to make Tequila Sunrise, Negroni, Gin Fizz
Introduction to social etiquette at cocktail events

Workshop 3: Advanced Mixology and Cocktail Parties

You will learn:

The role of wine, liqueur, beer, etc., in cocktails
How to host a home cocktail party
How to create your own cocktail
How to make Aperol Spritz, Martini, Cosmopolitan
Free discussion and sharing of participants' insights on cocktails

Versatile Mixologist Certification Exam: Written Test + Mixology

You will gain:

A certification as a versatile mixologist from PET
Opportunities to become an intern mixologist at PET parties, where you can socialize, network, and expand your horizons with like-minded individuals
The ability to mix cocktails for your friends for free and offer paid mixology services to others

Simon is a typical multitalented individual who has spent over a decade working for a renowned American company, making a name for himself in the IT industry. He enjoys running and has completed nine 100-kilometer races. He loves movies and watches at least 100 films a year, diligently writing reviews after each one. With a passion for mixology, Simon became a certified mixologist through systematic learning and practice. He has set up a private bar at home where he treats himself to a cocktail after work and often invites friends for ladder climbing sessions.
