About the Event

Join us every Saturday afternoon in Beijing's beautiful late summer and early autumn for an exciting team sports event organized by PET. We'll be playing ultimate frisbee and participating in a thrilling nametag ripping battle. Let's work out together and have some fun!

What is Ultimate Frisbee?

Ultimate frisbee is a fast-paced, non-contact team sport that thousands of players around the world enjoy. It requires razor-sharp throwing skills, immense stamina, and agility. Unique to ultimate frisbee is its self-officiating nature, promoting fair play and the Spirit Of The Game (SOTG). Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the sport, ultimate frisbee is an intense and newcomer-friendly game that brings teammates together like family.

What is Nametag Ripping?

Nametag ripping is a mixed, contact-based team game that is both interesting and high-intensity. Each player wears a name tag on their back, and the objective is to protect your own name tag while attempting to rip off the name tags of opposing players. The team loses when all their members are out.

Schedule

16:00 - 16:30: Get together and networking
16:30 - 17:00: Frisbee Training, fore/back hand, hammer...
17:00 - 17:20: Warm-up exercise
17:20 - 18:30: Ultimate Frisbee Competition
18:30 - 19:00: Nametag ripping battle
19:00 - 21:00: Dinner party

Attention

Organizers will provide: tent, picnic blankets, nametags, frisbee, scorpions, etc.
Meeting place: South gate of Chaoyang park at 15:30 (according to the shared location in the WeChat group)
Please sign up in advance, or pay an extra ¥30
The event will be cancelled if the number of participants is less than 1/3 of the expected number
