Why do I need to practice
my pronunciation and expressions?

First impressions are important. Your speaking is the first thing that people notice when they meet you. It is crucial that you sound good and speak well. The first part of this is your pronunciation. Even the best words can sound bad because of a bad accent. And the second part of this is your expressions. Even the perfect accent cannot help you stand out because of outdated expressions.
If you want to communicate better and more confidently with your foreign colleagues, friends, or classmates, and make your spoken language a core competency for your job, then this is the course for you! Through the instructor's sharing of her authentic teaching and living experience in New York City, you will discover your potential in English speaking from a new perspective.
What will I get from the workshop?

During this 8-hour workshop, you will practice the pronunciation of both consonant and vowel sounds. You will also learn the elements that give English its special "music," such as how to stress the correct syllable in a word, how to create a natural-sounding melody with your voice, and how to naturally connect sounds and words.
In addition, you will receive authentic American expressions for everyday life scenarios such as greetings, parties, shopping, traveling, etc., as well as effective and efficient ways to practice pronunciation and learn English. This will allow you to speak English with confidence and easily become the center of attention.

Who is my instructor?

Christina graduated from Columbia University with a major in Curriculum and Teaching, with a bilingual extension. With 9 years of teaching experience in public and private schools in New York and Wall Street English in Beijing, she has helped hundreds of students find their own way of learning English and realize their dreams. She will guide you towards speaking fluent English with her perfect American accent.
