About the Event

Join us every Saturday afternoon in Beijing for an exciting outdoor sports event organized by PET. Experience the thrill of team sports with ultimate frisbee and nametag ripping battles. Let's work out together and make the most of the beautiful late summer and early autumn season.

About Ultimate Frisbee

Ultimate frisbee is a fast-paced, non-contact team sport played worldwide. It requires sharp throwing skills, stamina, and agility. Unlike other sports, ultimate frisbee is self-officiating and promotes fair play through the Spirit Of The Game (SOTG) principle. It's a welcoming sport for newcomers, where teams often become like family.

About Nametag Ripping

Nametag ripping is a mixed, contact game that combines intensity and strategy. Each player wears a nametag on their back, and the goal is to protect your own while ripping off opponents' nametags. The last team standing wins!

Schedule

16:00 - 16:30: Get together and networking
16:30 - 17:00: Frisbee Training
17:00 - 17:20: Warm-up exercise
17:20 - 18:30: Ultimate Frisbee Competition
18:30 - 19:00: Nametag ripping battle
19:00 - 21:00: Dinner party

Important Information

Organizers will provide tents, picnic blankets, nametags, frisbees, and more. Meeting place: South gate of Chaoyang park at 15:30 (details shared in Wechat group). Please sign up in advance or pay ¥30 extra. The event will be canceled if the number of participants is less than 1/3 of the expected count.

About the Organizer

Alex, the community organizer, is a language enthusiast and passionate about creating meaningful connections. He founded "Post English Time" (PET) in 2011 to provide a trustworthy and interesting English-speaking community. Alex's goal is to help others expand their possibilities in life through PET's networking events and activities.
