Join the PET Reading Club and connect with like-minded individuals to share your love for books and expand your knowledge.

We have selected some fascinating books for our upcoming event:

  • A History of Western Philosophy, Catholic Philosophy by Bertrand Russell
  • A Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir
  • The Psychology of Money: Timeless lessons on wealth, greed, and happiness by Morgan Hou

Each week, we will discuss 1 to 3 chapters from these books.

However, you are not obligated to read our recommended books. Feel free to share the books you are currently reading with the group.

Here's the schedule for the event:

  • 15:30-16:00: Prepare your sharing
  • 16:00-16:30: Introduction
  • 16:30-19:00: Book sharing and discussion

To ensure the event's success, please sign up in advance. In case the number of participants is less than 1/3 of the expected number, the event will be canceled. There is an option to pay an extra ¥30 as a venue fee if you haven't signed up beforehand.

Our host for the event is Chen Xianlong Edward, a project management engineer. He is passionate about exploring new things, making funny friends, and participating in marathon races. Edward is an avid reader, particularly interested in philosophy and history.
