Cocktail Tasting and Mixology Workshop

PET's new and old friends are eager to participate in cocktail-related courses, to gain a comprehensive understanding of cocktails. However, such courses are scarce and expensive. For those who want to expand their knowledge and add more excitement to their lives, rather than becoming a professional mixologist or making it their career, it's unnecessary to spend thousands or even tens of thousands of yuan to learn. That's why we have specially designed PET's unique cocktail workshop. It will be taught by Simon, an IT professional who combines artistic spirit and professional expertise. He will bring us the most informative, hands-on, and cost-effective cocktail tasting and mixology workshop in the city. With just 9 hours of your time, you can gain a comprehensive understanding of cocktail knowledge and culture, and under the guidance of the instructor, create several classic cocktails. You will transform from a complete amateur to a versatile mixologist who can taste and craft cocktails. When you bring your friends to a bar, you will shine like a star. If you're willing, you can even follow in Simon's footsteps and set up your own home bar/cocktail parties, becoming an entertaining and knowledgeable party host.

Workshop 1: Cocktail Culture and Tasting

You will learn:

The past, present, and future of cocktails, understanding the cocktail culture

How to evaluate a cocktail

Get to know the bar counter, familiarize yourself with bar tools, practice basic mixing techniques

Learn how to make Gin & Tonic, Mojito, Whiskey Sour

Introduce yourself and share your memories of the first cocktail you ever had

Workshop 2: Cocktail Classification and Social Etiquette

You will learn:

Learn about the six main base spirits and various types of cocktails

Practice techniques such as stirring, shaking, and cutting

Learn how to make Tequila Sunrise, Negroni, Gin Fizz

Discuss social etiquette to be followed at cocktail events

Workshop 3: Advanced Mixology and Cocktail Parties

You will learn:

Learn about wine, liqueurs, beer, and their role in cocktails

How to host a cocktail party at home

How to create your own signature cocktail

Learn how to make Aperol Spritz, Martini, Cosmopolitan

Participants can freely discuss and share their understanding of cocktails over the past three weeks
