Cocktail Tasting and Mixology Workshop

PET's new and old friends have expressed great interest in cocktail-related courses, wanting to gain a comprehensive understanding of cocktails. However, such courses are scarce and expensive. For those who want to expand their knowledge and add excitement to their lives without becoming professional mixologists or pursuing mixology as a career, there is no need to spend thousands or even millions to learn. That's why we have created PET's unique cocktail workshop. Led by Simon, an IT expert with both artistic and professional spirit, this workshop offers the most informative, practical, and cost-effective cocktail tasting and mixology experience in the city. In just 9 hours, you'll have a comprehensive understanding of cocktail knowledge and culture. Under the guidance of the instructor, you'll also have the opportunity to craft several classic cocktails. Transform yourself from a novice to a versatile mixologist who can appreciate and create cocktails. Whether you're going to a bar with friends or hosting a cocktail party, you'll shine like a star. Workshop 1: Cocktail Culture and Tasting

You will learn:

The past, present, and future of cocktails, understanding cocktail culture
How to evaluate a cocktail
The essentials of a bar station and cocktail tools, practicing basic mixology techniques
How to make Gin & Tonic, Mojito, Whiskey Sour
Introduce yourself and share memories of the first cocktail you ever had

Workshop 2: Cocktail Classification and Social Etiquette

You will learn:

The six major base spirits and various cocktail types
Practice blending, stirring, shaking, and straining techniques
How to make Tequila Sunrise, Negroni, Gin Fizz
Introduction to social etiquette at cocktail events

Workshop 3: Advanced Mixology and Cocktail Parties

You will learn:

Understanding wine, liqueurs, beer, and their roles in cocktails

Simon / Artistic and Versatile IT Guru
Simon is a typical versatile youth. After more than ten years of working in a well-known multinational company, he has become an IT guru in the industry. He enjoys running and has completed nine 100-kilometer races. He loves movies and watches at least 100 films a year, writing thoughtful reviews after each one. He is also passionate about bars and cocktails. After systematic learning and extensive practice, he became a certified mixologist and set up his own private bar at home. He enjoys making cocktails for himself after work and often invites friends to enjoy his creations.
