Artificial Intelligence (AI) was initially developed to solve specific pre-learned problems or reasoning tasks like Siri's voice assistant. However, Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is a hypothetical ability for an intelligent agent to learn any intellectual task that a human can perform, requiring self-awareness and consciousness. Join us to discuss if machines can ever reach this level of consciousness.

Meet our host, Paul, a doctoral student who researches Education Technology and teaches Mathematics and Physics. Paul recently earned his PhD in Education Leadership and Policy (Comparative Education). He enjoys architecture, technology, traveling, and meeting new friends from around the world.
