Spring is here and it's the perfect time for outdoor sports. Join us for a friendly game of Ultimate Frisbee this Thursday and let's get active together! PET is organizing this event for friends who love team sports and outdoor activities.

What is Ultimate Frisbee?

Ultimate Frisbee is an exciting, non-contact team sport played globally in Open, Mixed, and Women's teams. It's a fast-paced game that demands razor sharp throwing skills, immense stamina, and agility. Ultimate is also unique in that it's the only IOC recognized sport to be self-officiated and promote Spirit Of The Game (SOTG). This means that players have a deep understanding of the game and rules, and prioritize fair play. It's an intense sport but also newcomer-friendly, with players often referring to their teams as family.

Please sign up in advance or pay an extra fee of ¥30. The event will be cancelled if the number of participants is less than 1/3 of the expected number.

Meet Alex, the community organizer behind PET! Alex is a language enthusiast and real-life event organizer who established the English community "Post English Time" (PET) in June 2011. PET is a high-quality network of English-speaking international youth in Beijing, aiming to build a high-quality network of locals and foreigners interested in culture, language, technology, and humanities.
