EVENT OVERVIEW

Toronto stands as one of the world’s most vibrant multicultural cities—take advantage of this with TorontoBabel! Unlike other groups that focus on a single language, we offer a unique chance to practice a variety of languages. At our regular meetups, you’ll encounter native speakers of languages such as French, Spanish, English, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, German, Polish, Italian, Cantonese, Turkish, Mandarin, Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Farsi, and many more. All language learners, from beginners to fluent speakers, are encouraged to join us!

HOW IT WORKS

TorontoBabel is designed as a dynamic language exchange group. You’ll have the opportunity to teach your native language to others while they assist you in mastering theirs. We typically organize groups practicing languages like French, Spanish, and Korean, and will guide you to these sessions. If you prefer to seek out native speakers of your favorite language on your own, that’s perfectly fine too!

If this is your first TorontoBabel gathering, be sure to introduce yourself to our wonderful Event Organizers, FARINAZ and TERRY. They will help connect you with native speakers of the language you wish to learn and can introduce you to others eager to learn your language.
