Join us for an exciting evening of language and cultural exchange at MADISON PUB, conveniently located behind Spadina Station.

We’ll also have nametags available for you to write your name, the languages you speak, and those you’re eager to learn or enhance. ***

Cash donations will be accepted at the entrance by one of our Babel hosts or volunteers (not at the bar). ***

EVENT OVERVIEW

Toronto is a vibrant, multicultural city, and TorontoBabel is your gateway to embracing this diversity! Unlike groups that focus on a single language, we offer a platform to practice multiple languages. In our typical gatherings, you’ll find speakers of French, Spanish, English, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, German, Polish, Italian, Cantonese, Turkish, Mandarin, Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Farsi, and many others. Everyone is welcome—learners at all levels, from beginners to fluent speakers, are encouraged to join!

HOW IT WORKS

TorontoBabel operates as a language exchange group where you can assist others in learning your native language while they help you with theirs. We typically organize groups by language—such as French, Spanish, or Korean—and will guide you to those groups. If you prefer, you may also seek out native speakers on your own!

If this is your first TorontoBabel event, please introduce yourself to our wonderful Event Organizers, FARINAZ and TERRY. They will help connect you with native speakers of the language you wish to practice and introduce you to others eager to learn your language.
