We are excited to announce a new location for our language exchange event, TorontoBabel, happening at the charming and welcoming Bampot House.

Bampot House is an artsy venue that offers a wide selection of teas from around the world, refreshing drinks, and delicious yet affordable food options. It provides a unique and cozy setting for practicing languages and making new friends!

***IMPORTANT: TorontoBabel events now take place twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd week of each month!***

***We kindly request attendees to make at least one purchase at the bar during the event to support the ongoing free admission to TorontoBabel gatherings and help us maintain this wonderful location.***

EVENT OVERVIEW

Toronto is renowned for its multiculturalism, and TorontoBabel allows you to take full advantage of it! Unlike other language groups that focus on a single language, TorontoBabel offers you the opportunity to practice multiple languages. Our gatherings attract native speakers of French, Spanish, English, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, German, Polish, Italian, Cantonese, Turkish, Mandarin, Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Farsi, and many more. Whether you're a beginner or a fluent speaker, everyone is welcome!

HOW IT WORKS

TorontoBabel functions as a language exchange group, where you can help others learn your native language and in return, learn theirs. We usually have designated groups for practicing languages like French, Spanish, Korean, and more, and we'll guide you to the respective groups. If you're comfortable finding native speakers of your preferred language on your own, that's perfectly fine too!

If this is your first time attending a TorontoBabel event, please introduce yourself to our Event Organizer, FARINAZ. They will assist you in connecting with native speakers of the language you're interested in and can introduce you to those interested in learning your language as well.
