TorontoBabel Language & Cultural Exchange Night is returning to Rivoli, our beloved meeting place in the heart of downtown Toronto. Join us for an evening of practicing foreign languages, making new friends, reconnecting with old acquaintances, and mingling with our diverse international community. Additionally, you can enjoy the use of pool tables (at a discounted price for meetup participants) and play foosball.

As always, the event will take place at Rivoli and is open to everyone!

Overview

Toronto is renowned as one of the most multicultural cities in the world, and TorontoBabel allows you to take full advantage of this diversity! While many language groups focus on a single language, TorontoBabel offers an exceptional opportunity to practice numerous languages. Our gatherings attract native speakers of French, Spanish, English, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, German, Polish, Italian, Cantonese, Turkish, Mandarin, Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Farsi, and many other languages. Regardless of your language proficiency level, whether you are a beginner or a native speaker, we welcome all language enthusiasts!

How It Works

TorontoBabel operates as a language exchange group, where you can teach others your native language while simultaneously learning from native speakers of various languages. Typically, we have separate groups for practicing French, Spanish, Korean, and more, and we will gladly direct you to the appropriate group. If you prefer finding native speakers of your desired language independently, that's perfectly fine too!

If this is your first time attending a TorontoBabel event, please introduce yourself to our event organizer, Terry. He will guide you toward native speakers of your target language and can also introduce you to individuals interested in learning your language.

Please make sure to approach us first so that we can identify and assist you accordingly.
