Since November 15, 2023, Quebec has experienced an intense moment of emotions. Just from the stories I've heard in the news, on the internet, and from the information shared by my friends who live in Quebec, this reaction was the strongest wave of solidarity I have seen since I arrived in Canada.
At the same time, it made me realize that I have moved very far from the beautiful province. It reminded me of the moments of happiness punctuated by the tunes of the Cowboys. Whether it's in stores, bars, karaoke, etc. All those precious moments I enjoyed thanks to a warm people, a unique society, and its distinct cultural heritage.
There are two things that make me cry. First, it's the loss of this great singer. And, that I am so far from St-Denis street.
For all these reasons, I have booked a karaoke room in Vancouver, so that Quebecers and Quebec enthusiasts here can enjoy a themed evening with the Cowboys Fringants.
