First Polyglot meeting in Antwerp

his is a first attempt to do this in Antwerp, maybe even Belgium.

We are trying to get some people together via CouchSurfing and Polyglot.

The attempt is to have a ( @ first ) a monthly meeting for people to learn languages.

Are you a native Spanish speaker and you want to learn dutch ?

Or are you a native dutch speaker who wants to learn French ?

Let us come together and learn from each other, its the best way to learn other languages.

The first attempt is going to be the bar ' 't Oerwoud ' @ the corner from Ernest Van Dijckkaai and Suikerrui.

Its a well known bar, beer is cheap and is not for from Groenplaats for connection Metro/Tram/Bus So let come together around 20h on the 15 of July and let's see if this works.

Are you going to join us and make this a new and super cool event in this city ?

And not making more confusion, this is for learning a language.If you want to learn French, Dutch, English, German, ....... you can.Where traying to mix the native speakers with the non-native (students -)And try to learn a language that way.It's in a bar because its easy and there is a lot of room.The all so will reserve a couple of table for us. Its a nice bar with good atmosphere.And yes there is beer (because it's a bar), but you not forcet to drink beer.It's not the mean reson.Where here for language and hope you will like it.ThanksBart

I'm just a bit confused. Or I might have misread or misunderstood. What about the native french speakers who want to learn either dutch, english or spanish? I guess everyone's welcome though I just wanted to  clear this out  before buying a return ticket to Antwerp  :). And last question,  would there be any meetings in Brussels?

I'm from Antwerp, learning Spanish. I would've liked to come, but I'll still be in Sweden on the 15th. Qué pena.

I hope it'll be a big hit and the first of many to come. So have fun! (with or without the beer)

Good initiative. I registered and if all goes well with work I will actually appear :) You are not forced to drink beer, I am also a Belgian heretic not drinking beer :)

Hi

Is this just for peole speaking spanish, to learn dutch .. or speaking dutch to learn French? or was it only an example?

Moreover, is it just for people who appreciate beer...? :) i don't, maybe some  others too.
